Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh to launch Covid recall campaign on Monday, October 11

PHNOM PENH, October 9 (Phnom Penh Post / ANN): The Phnom Penh municipal administration calls on residents of the 14 districts of the capital who have received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine to be vaccinated after an interval of four months .

In an October 8 notice, he said the third-dose vaccination campaign for residents of Phnom Penh will begin on Monday (October 11) in 11 districts and on October 30 in the other three, noting that Sinovac injections will be used.

Six of the 11 districts that will kick off the jab drive on October 11 are Tuol Kork, Russey Keo, Meanchey, Dangkor, Kamboul and Por Sen Chey.

This will be overseen by the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces under the Ministry of National Defense.

Only those who have received their first and second doses administered by military doctors should receive the booster in the districts mentioned above. Vaccinations will begin at 2 p.m. for these localities.

The other five districts that will also launch their campaigns on October 11 are Boeung Keng Kang, Chamkarmon, Chbar Ampov, Prampi Makara and Sen Sok.

This will be administered by medical staff from the municipal health ministry and volunteer medical workers. Vaccinations will start at 8 a.m.

The remaining three districts – Daun Penh, Chroy Changvar and Prek Phnov – will begin immunizations on October 30 as part of campaigns overseen by medical staff from the municipal health service and a volunteer medical group.

Vaccinees should bring their vaccination and national identification cards or other documents that they used when receiving their first dose.
